33:4 God did not make any man with two hearts in his body. Nor did He make your wives whom you estrange to be as your mothers. Nor did He make your adopted children (adʿiyāakum) to be your sons. Such is what you claim with your mouths, but God speaks the truth, and He guides to the path.*

33:37 You said to the one who was blessed by God, and blessed by you: "Keep your wife and reverence God," and you hid inside yourself what God wished to proclaim. You feared the people, while it was God you were supposed to fear. So when Zayd ended his relationship with his wife, We had you marry her, to establish that there is no wrongdoing for those who acknowledge marrying the wives of their adopted sons (adʿiyāihim) if their relationship is ended. God's command is always done.

12:21 And the man from Egypt who bought him* said to his wife: "Make his stay [with us] honourable; he may well be of use to us, or we may adopt him as a son (nattakhidhahu waladan). And thus We gave unto Joseph a firm place on earth; and [We did this] so that We might impart unto him some understanding of the inner meaning of happenings.* For, God always prevails in whatever be His purpose: but most people know it not.

20:39 Place him in a chest and throw it into the river, and thereupon the river will cast him ashore, [and] one who is an enemy unto Me and an enemy unto him will adopt (yakhudh'hu) him.* "And [thus early] I spread Mine Own love over thee -and [this] in order that thou might be formed (walituṣ'naʿa) under Mine eye.*

28:9 Now the wife of Pharaoh said: “A joy to the eye [could this child be] for me and thee! Slay him not: he may well be of use to us, or we may adopt him as a son (nattakhidhahu waladan)!" And they had no presentiment [of what he was to become].

Articles of faith

2:62 Surely those who believe; and those who are Jewish, and the Nazarenes, and the Sabians, whomever of them BELIEVES IN GOD and the LAST DAY and DOES GOOD WORK; they will have their reward with their Lord, with no fear over them, nor will they grieve.

2:177 Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but piety is one who BELIEVES IN GOD and the LAST DAY, and the ANGELS, and the SCRIPTURE, and the PROPHETS, and who GIVES MONEY out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and who UPHOLD THE SALAT, and who contributes towards betterment (ZAKAT); as well as those who KEEP THEIR PLEDGES when they make a pledge, and those who are PATIENT in the face of good and bad and when in despair. These are the ones who have been TRUTHFUL, and they are the righteous.

2:285 The messenger believes in what was sent down to him from his Lord. And the believers, all who believe in GOD, and His ANGELS, and His SCRIPTURES, and His MESSENGERS: "We do not differentiate between any of His messengers;" and they said: "We hear and obey, forgive us O Lord, and to you is our destiny."

4:136 O you who believe; believe in God and His messenger, and the Scripture which was sent down to His messenger, and the Scripture that was sent before. And whoever rejects GOD, and His ANGELS, and His SCRIPTURE, and His MESSENGERS, and the LAST DAY; then he has strayed a far straying.

3:92 You will not reach piety until you SPEND from what you love; and whatever you spend, God is aware of it.

3:114 They believe in GOD and the LAST DAY and order kindness and deter from evil, and they hasten in goodness; these are of the righteous ones.

4:162 But those of them who are firm in knowledge, as well as the believers, they believe in WHAT WAS SENT DOWN TO YOU and what was sent down before you; and those who uphold the SALAT, and those who contribute towards betterment (ZAKAT), and those who believe in GOD and the LAST DAY; to these We will give them their reward greatly.

5:69 Surely those who BELIEVE; and those who are Jewish, and the Sabians, and the Nazarenes, whomever of them BELIEVES IN GOD and the LAST DAY and does GOOD WORK; then they will have nothing to fear nor will they grieve.

(6:25:32) l-awalīna
6:25 Among them are those who listen to you; and We have made covers over their hearts to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears; and if they see every sign they will not acknowledge; even when they come to you they argue, those who reject say, "This is nothing but the tales from the past!"5
(8:31:17) l-awalīna
8:31 When Our signs are recited to them, they say, "We have listened, and if we wish, we could have said the same thing. This is nothing but tales of the ancients!"
(8:38:16) l-awalīna
8:38 Say to the ingrates: "If they cease, then what has passed before will be forgiven to them, and if they return to it, then the example of the previous generations has already been given."4

15:10 We have sent before you to the factions of old.
(15:13:7) l-awalīna
15:13 They do not acknowledge it, while the examples of the early generations has been brought to them.
(17:59:10) l-awalūna
17:59 The rejection of previous people did not stop Us from sending the signs. We sent to Thamud the camel with foresight, but they did her wrong. We do not send the signs except to alert.9
(18:55:15) l-awalīna
18:55 When the guidance came to them nothing prevented the people from acknowledging, and seeking forgiveness from their Lord, except they sought to receive the ways of the previous people, or receive the retribution face to face.
(23:81:6) l-awalūna
23:81 Indeed, they have said the same as what the people of old had said.
(23:83:12) l-awalīna

(25:5:3) l-awalīna

(35:43:16) l-awalīna
35:43 Arrogance on earth, and evil scheming… The evil schemes only backfire on those who scheme them. Were they expecting anything different from the sunna used on the people of the past? You will not find any change in God's sunna.7
(37:71:5) l-awalīna
37:71 Most of the previous generations have strayed before them.

(46:17:28) l-awalīna
46:17 The one who says to his parents: "Enough of you! Are you promising me that I will be resurrected, when the generations who died before me never came back?" While they both will implore God: "Woe to you; acknowledge! For God's promise is the truth." He would say, "This is nothing but tales from the past!"
(56:13:3) l-awalīna

60:4 There has been a good example set for you by Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people: "We are innocent from you and what you serve besides God. We have rejected you, and it appears that there shall be animosity and hatred between us and you until you acknowledge God alone." Except for the saying of Abraham to his father: "I will ask forgiveness for you, but I do not possess any power to protect you from God." "Our Lord, we have put our trust in You, and we turn to You, and to You is the final destiny."

60:5 "Our Lord, do not let us become a test for those who rejected, and forgive us. Our Lord, You are the Noble, the Wise."

60:6 Certainly, a good example has been set by them for those who seek God and the Last day. Whosoever turns away, then God is the Rich (l-ghaniyu - self-sufficient / free of need) , the Praiseworthy.

And they did not say except: "Our Lord, forgive us our sins dhunūbanā   and our shortcomings wa-is'rāfanā in our responsibility , and make firm our foothold, and grant us victory over the rejecting people."
And test the orphans until they reach the age of marriage, then if you determine in them sound judgment, then give them their wealth, and do not deliberately consume it WASTEfully is'rāfan or quickly before they grow up. And whoever is rich, then let him not claim anything, and if he is poor then let him consume only in goodness. If you give to them their wealth, then make a witness for them, and God is enough for Reckoning.
It is because of this that We have decreed for the Children of Israel: "Anyone who kills a person who has not committed murder, or who has not committed CORRUPTion in the land; then it is as if he has killed all the people! And whoever spares a life, then it is as if he has given life to all the people." Our messengers had come to them with clarification, but many of them are, after this, still CORRUPTing lamus'rifūna on the Earth.
And He is the One Who initiated gardens; both trellised and untrellised; and palm trees, and plants, all with different taste; and olives and pomegranates, similar and not similar. Eat from its fruit when it blossoms and give its due on the day of harvest; and do not WASTE tus'rifū. He does not like the WASTEful l-mus'rifīna.
O Children of Adam, dress nicely at every temple, and eat and drink and do not INDULGE tus'rifū; He does not like the INDULGErs l-mus'rifīna.
"You come to men with desire instead of women; you are a TRANSGRESSing mus'rifūna people."
And if any adversity inflicts mankind, then he calls upon Us on his side or sitting or standing. But when We remove his adversity from him, he goes on as if he never called upon Us to an adversity which touched him! It is thus that what the CAREFREE lil'mus'rifīna have done was made to appear good to them.
But none believed in Moses from his people except some from their descendants, because of their fear from Pharaoh and his leaders that he would persecute them. Pharaoh was high laʿālin in the land, and he was of the TYRANts l-mus'rifīna.
And it is such that We recompense he who TRANSGRESSes asrafa, and did not believe in His Lord's revelations. And the retribution of the Hereafter is more severe and lasting.
Then We fulfilled the promise to them, so We saved them and whom We pleased, and We destroyed those who TRANSGRESSed l-mus'rifīna.
And those who when they give they are not EXCESSive yus'rifū nor stingy yaqturū, but they are in a measure between that.
"And do not obey the command of the CAREFREE. l-mus'rifīna"
They said: "Keep your welcome with you, for you have been reminded. Indeed, you are TRANSGRESSing mus'rifūna people."
Say: "O My servants who TRANSGRESSed asrafū against themselves, do not despair of God's mercy. For God forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, the Merciful."
And a believing man from among Pharaoh's people, who had concealed his belief, said: "Will you kill a man simply for saying: 'My Lord is God', and he has come to you with proofs from your Lord? And if he is a liar, then his lie will be upon him, and if he is truthful, then some of what he is promising you will afflict you. Surely, God does not guide any TRANSGRESSor mus'rifun, liar kadhābun."
"And Joseph had come to you before with proofs, but you remained in doubt regarding what he came to you with, until when he died, you said: "God will not send any messenger after him." It is such that God sends astray he who is a TRANSGRESSor mus'rifun, doubter mur'tābun."
"There is no doubt that what you invite me to has no basis in this world, nor in the Hereafter. And our ultimate return will be to God, and that the TRANSGRESSors l-mus'rifīna will be the dwellers if the Fire."
Shall We take away the reminder from you, because you are a TRANSGRESSing mus'rifīna people?
From Pharaoh; he was arrogant ʿāliyan among the TRANSGRESSors l-mus'rifīna.
"Prepared by your Lord for the TRANSGRESSors. lil'mus'rifīna"
