57:27 Then We sent in their tracks Our messengers. We sent Jesus the son of Mary, and We gave him the Injeel, and We ordained in the hearts of his followers kindness and compassion. But they invented (ib'tadaʿūhā - innovated) Monasticism which We never decreed for them. They wanted to please God, but they did not observe it the way it should have been observed. Consequently, We gave those who acknowledged among them their recompense, while many of them were wicked. 

46:9 Say, "I am no different (bid'ʿan - a new one) from the other messengers, nor do I know what will happen to me or to you. I only follow what is inspired to me. I am no more than a clear warner"

2:117 Initiator (badīʿuof heavens and earth, when He decrees a command, He merely says to it, "Be," and it is.

6:101 Originator (badīʿuof the heavens and the earth, how can He have a son when He did not take a wife? He created all things and He is knowledgeable over all things.
